Overview:
The Cathedral is a building built inside the mines, carved entirely out of salt. Discover the imposing architecture of this great cultural and religious heritage. On this tour, you will learn about the history, customs, folklore and typical food of our region. You will visit the historic center of Zipaquira and admire its colonial architecture, places like the Plaza de los Comuneros, Plaza de la Independencia, the school where our Nobel Prize winner for Literature (Gabriel Gracia Marquez) studied, the train station, time for lunch (optional) and return to Bogota.
